The Institution

S.A. Engineering College has taken the forefront of technical education through its distinctively different approach and carefully nurtured standards. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, and Tamil Nadu. In recognition of quality system of higher calibre being implemented in this college M/s RWTUV, (Now TUV NORD) has awarded ISO 9001:2015 Certification to the Institution, Accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. S.A. Engineering College is also conferred Autonomous status for over 10 years from 2019.

IEEE Madras Section

The IEEE Madras Section was established in 1973 and is in it's golden jubilee year. It has an active membership over 7000. It organizes conferences, seminars, workshops, symposia, faculty development programmes and other technical programmes. The section is concerned about the welfare of the students to enrich their skills and knowledge in this part of the country and strives to improve the teaching learning process in the engineering colleges and universities.
